SCENE OUTSIDE C

Director, educator, and leader of “Scen utanför C” in Malmö through a collaborative project between Ung Teaterscen and Riksteatern. Started two new theater groups for young people in Malmö's suburbs: Alela Ensemble in Sofielund and Teater Hyacinth in Lindängen between 2022-2026, involving 40 young people during the course of the project. The youth groups have now merged into one and are called TEATER THYALELA.

 

Siri and the young people are currently collaborating with Teater Theatron in an EU/Erasmus project with the theaters Dah Theatre (RS) and Teatro Kapodistria (SL). In the spring of 2025, they created the performance “Ser du mig nu?” (Do you see me now?) at Motettens Folkets hus kulturdag mot antimuslimsk rasism (Motettens Folkets hus culture day against anti-Muslim racism), in collaboration with Framtidens hus, CKC, and Moria Dans och Teater. In the spring of 2024, the group participated in the Riksteatern's LÄNK festival at Intiman Malmö Stadsteater.
